Troublesome postcrossing tag...

As nice as these cards are I can't really be happy about them. I tagged the sender, read his offers and choose these three cards. Then a few days ago I've remembered this tag and noticed that I hadn't received anything yet. I had deleted the U2U I wrote him after the tag so I went to the thread again, looked at his offers again and found the three cards again. Both times I read his offer carefully and both times I choose the same cards.

He answered quickly telling me that he had written a U2U because one of the cards wasn't available for tags. I had seen this in his offers after the time I had tagged him, but when I tagged him only the DC cards weren't available for tags. On top of that I also hadn't received this U2U.. After I replied I took another look at the thread and suddenly it said that the card this allw as about wasn't for tags ...

If I had received the message back then I would accepted the fact that I probably overlooked it, but now ... did I really overlooked it twice and on top of that didn't get that message? It's a bit fishy ... 

Well I don't know who was right and who was wrong in this and I told him that it was up to him if the sends the cards or not. I'm happy that I received something, but not happy about thinking that I now have to take screenshots of one's offers just to have proof if something like this happens again ...
